graced day

Thanks be to God. As a token of gratitude, I read Psalm 23 and Mary's Canticle (the Magnificat).

Many thanks for all of your prayers. God is good all the time, and I'm sure that stuff that happened today are a result of prayers from good folks.

We met with the entity that froze our assets, got stuff resolved, and they took less than half of the original figure.

Met with the bank, and they took off every single bank charge. See, Tonto has been banking there for a veeerrrry loooong time. Eons ago, Tonto had a brush with this bank employee, but the two of them resolved it beautifully. This employee has never forgotten it, and have moved through the ranks over the years. So when Tonto walked in today, favors were generously returned. Hmm...I suppose it really pays to have a working relationship with your banker. So be sure to be kind to everyone you meet, he/she might be your banker some day. ;)

Oh my goodness, Seeking. In my own little pity party since Tuesday I hadn't been reading anybody else's blogs, and just read your posts now. I'm so glad that the banking thing is sorted out. How terrifying! How frustrating! Please hang in there and know that heaven is being stormed on your behalf.
