- If you are looking for a "happenin" blog, this ain't it. I am in my 40's. I was baptized into the Catholic faith on Easter of 2001. I started discerning a religious vocation in 2004. In early 2006 I met the Dominicans. My initial reaction was "no way" and it was no secret. But surprise! I was captivated. However, due to a set of circumstances, I am unable to pursue life as a religious, and I am getting too old to think that it can happen later through the years. Yes, I have given up on the idea. Life goes on. No telling what the future brings!

I just keep thinking these thing's make me trip and fall down! Plus, except for maybe the boots--that hide the spring--I'd certainly stare at anyone who was wearing them! Have you ever tried 'em?
Yeah, they are the goofiest, wackiest real shoes I've ever seen. No, I've not tried them, but the testimonials sure them sound enticing. My co-worker alerted me to them. I hope he tries them out and let me know how it goes. I have feet pain. And I thought it was so with everyone. I was much surprised to find out it wasn't. I've found that the more expensive shoes are no better for my pain than the cheapies. I currently have a $30 pair. I ones I pictured before from my rainy bike ride were $20 with inserts and they are wonderfully comfortable.
